Entry requirements
55% OR Higher in Undergraduate with IELTS 6.0 with no bands less than 5.5 or overseas equivalent. A second class honours degree (2.2) in an engineering or science discipline is the basic requirement. Candidates with alternative qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

·         Bio-Energy 2 (elective, i.e. not mandatory)


Semester 3

·         Research Project write up (mandatory for M.Sc.)

Career Prospects
Graduates of the M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems programme will be equipped with the skillset and knowledge for crucial roles in research, design and development in companies in the energy sector. Graduates from this programme have obtained employment from a vast variety of companies throughout Ireland and further afield. Also, some graduates have decided to pursue further study in the energy domain to PhD level, at Dundalk Institute of Technology and other universities.
